12-reactor, 4 cityblock Nuclear Power Plants
Two plants designed for Space Exploration: * One traditional plant using 480 Steam Turbines * One modern plant using 312 Condenser Turbines Based on city-block concept: fits within 4x1 blocks. Uses 2x6 reactors. Efficiently stores energy as Steam. Stabilizes reactor temp around 768 deg C. Attempts to balance Steam levels on both sides. Light indicators show Steam levels. Sustained power output: 1.76 GW (1.32 GW condensing), using 176 heat exchangers. Can generate 2.08 GW worth of Steam using all 208 heat exchangers if reactors are overheating. Peaks at 2.7936 GW (1.8158 GW condensing) when running on stored Steam. Can store up to 3.5M Steam. Condensing variant has tanks for up to 5.6M Water (but Water + Steam should be less than 5.6M total). Consumes, for sustained power output: * Turbine: 21.443k Water / sec * Condensing: 214.43 Water / sec Control plane powered by independent solar: 184 panels (11MW) + 192 acc (960 MJ). Contains 2.7k acc [13.5 GJ] (2.5k acc [12.5 GJ] condensing), extendable with external accumulators. Will sync accumulator levels with Dot signal on external Green wire network. Will cycle nuclear to maintain Steam level. Will disconnect turbines to cycle accumulators between fixed levels. Steam, Water, and accumulator levels are independently configurable.
